Hello and welcome to our latest blog and new website. I hope you like the makeover that we’ve had on the website and there are still more changes to come including a new online shop.

We are busy preparing here for a rather chaotic August. We head to the Lakes Chilli Festival on the first weekend of the month and then on the third weekend we are off to the East Midlands Festival.

Hello and welcome to our latest (very late) blog. So much for blogging monthly , so I promise not to make any more promises on the frequency of our blogs!

The Chilli Babies have grown up quite a bit and could probably be more aptly titled Chilli Teenagers at present. We have just over 60 varieties this year including one Carolina Reaper which I'm pleased to say is now covered in chilli flowers.

Hello and welcome to not only our latest blog but also to our new e-commerce website. I know that it is a bit late but I wanted to wait until the new website was launched before adding the latest blog to the site.

Evening. My plan to write a weekly blog is not going according to plan so I’ve therefore made the decision to try fortnightly and hope I can stick to that.

Indeed, where to begin as it has been a crazy ten days hence why I forgot all about my blog last Thursday.

I’ll start with the middle of last week when I went to check on the chilli seedlings and could not believe the amount of chilli babies that had appeared overnight. This might not be a problem you say, but it was to me as I hadn’t prepared the area where they were going once emerged. Frantic few hours then ensued but thankfully all is well now as you can see

ChilliHour 20 January 2014 – First of hopefully many once a month chilli hours

Hello, Happy New Year and welcome to my first blog of 2014. I hope you all had a great time over the festive season. I can’t believe we are nearly half way through January already.

Hello. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. We had a very relaxing Christmas and were very proud that all our food and drink consumed on the day came from Dumfries and Galloway or Ayrshire.

Good evening everyone. Firstly I think I owe you all an apology as it has been far too long since I last blogged. I hope you’ve all had a great summer and looking forward to the festive season.

Ever since I launched Galloway Chillies I’ve been trying to make the labelling of the range of jars easier. I have spent hours e-mailing companies to get quotes but with abrupt responses and expensive quotes.

I currently attend a range of markets but these are mostly in Dumfries and Galloway. I’ve gained feedback that people further afield would like to also try and buy our products so that is why last week I decided to look for a market in the Glasgow area that I could hopefully attend monthly.

Firstly huge apologies for taking so long to write a new blog. When this website was first thought up I had planned to do a weekly blog but that was prior to me discovering how time consuming producing and selling the range of preserves would be.

My first blog was written and posted over a month ago. So huge apologies for the delay in writing my second but I do hope from now on that I will be writing a weekly blog.

Well I suppose the first question is, where do you start when writing a blog? Then it hit me as I got a personal message on Facebook this evening – “Friendship”
