Galloway Chillies’ new mustards are Pure, Dead, Brilliant!
Dumfries and Galloway business, Galloway Chillies is launching an innovative new range of mustards today at the Wigtown Book Festival.
Named Pure, Dead and Brilliant, the three new products infuse tangy mustards with the heat of Galloway grown chillies and the oomph of boutique Scottish drinks.
Launched today at the Kist at Wigtown Book Festival, Pure contains Bladnoch malt whisky, Dead contains Dark Matter spiced rum while Brilliant is a beer based mustard made with Knockendoch real ale from Sulwath Brewers.
Sheena Horner, who launched Galloway Chillies three years ago, said today marked an important step in the development of her business:
“Galloway Chillies evolved from an idea, to a hobby, to a part time business while I was juggling a job. From today I’m concentrating on Galloway Chilies full time and I’m determined to turn into a successful growth business, with plans to start exporting within the next year.
“So what better way to celebrate concentrating fully on Galloway Chillies than by releasing a brand new range of products! I just love mustards and I’m so pleased with this new range that incorporates local beverages.”
The mustards are as follows:
There is nothing as PURE as a good Scotch malt. So what better ingredient to go into this decadent mustard, presented with just a hint of spice.
For those that like a lot of heat we bring you DEAD. A scorchio mustard containing decadent Dark Matter, a fantastically spicy rum. It’s hotter than Hell…
A sensational blend of richly roasted malted real ale boosted by a blast of chilli heat in this moreish mustard. Beautifully mellow and simply BRILLIANT.
