More Exciting News - 25th February 2014
25 Feb 2014
Hello and welcome to not only our latest blog but also to our new e-commerce website. I know that it is a bit late but I wanted to wait until the new website was launched before adding the latest blog to the site.
We have had another busy fortnight here with lots more #chillibabies appearing which really need to be re-potted. We have two more new stockists about to be named and we are pleased to add Moffat Farmers Market as yet another monthly market to our list of events. You can find us at Moffat on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
If you have any comments to make on the new website please let me know and I will take them into consideration. As there are no fresh British chillies at this time of year, stock will be pretty limited on the website until the middle of the year but keep looking for products being added. Oh and you may notice a new product in the shop which we are about to launch soon.
Sorry, the blog is a bit short this fortnight but I wanted to use it as an opportunity to tell you about Farmers Review and Summerhouse Lemonades. Please see details below with further information.
Farmers Review
You can now win some of our preserves in a gorgeous hamper from Farmers Review, who will be doing a monthly draw from all the reviewers in that month.
Farmers Review in a nutshell is the first independent reviews website available to the Farming Industry in the UK. Based on the trip advisor model they have created a platform that allows farmers, agronomists and industry professionals to rate & reviews the various products that they use to create a crop. As well as a reviews platform Farmers Review can be used as a reference point, they have detailed information on a wide range of seed (cereals, maize, pulses etc), ag chem & machinery which can all be accessed by our members. Finally they have recently introduced a new blogging section to Farmers Review, which has a number of farmers, agronomists & experts regularly blogging on various farming topics. This has proved to be very popular and is growing by the week.
Scottish Lemonade
Summerhouse Drinks will be offering real lemonades and soft drinks made with 100% natural ingredients in Scotland but they need your help.
They want to construct a summerhouse on the back of a van so that they can take their new range of natural, Scottish ”Summerhouse” lemonades to festivals, foodie events and exhibitions this summer and beyond. – See more on their Crowdfunding Page
I am supporting them and hope you can too.
